Newsletter. She is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Franklin & Marshall College and received her MBA as a University Fellow from the Robert H. Smith School of Business at The University of Maryland, College Park. Dana has managed a homeless shelter and a collegiate baseball team as well as starting up her home service franchise, College Hunks Hauling Junk. She keeps coming back to writing, a sideline for many years, and has decided to make it her vocation. Writing a book has always been a life goal for Dana. She found 50 things About Birds in Washington DC easy as she remembered the many places visited over the past 35 years. Her husband, Jeff, is a software engineer at The University of Maryland who also likes bird watching and puzzles. Dana is a lifelong Boston Red Sox fan; she swims; plays golf and reads voraciously about baseball; history and current events; watches any bird no matter how humble; studies/collects oriental rugs; designs board games; and likes to watch Escape to the Chateau. Dana has a forthcoming book called 50 Things to Know About Golf.
