Born in the Netherlands, Constantia Oomen has lived in Davis, California, since October 4, 2011, and became a U.S. citizen in March 2017. She holds a degree in secondary school teaching (German/Dutch) from the Utrecht University of Applied Sciences (1990) and a Master’s degree in German Language and Literature from Utrecht University (1993, with honors). Her interests include travel, languages, vegan food, birds, and cycling. While fascinated by the paranormal, she believes that everything can ultimately be explained by physical and universal laws — yet she still finds magic in life. Constantia has published four books in the Netherlands about her out-of-body experiences, which sparked her ongoing interest in these subjects. Her interactions with skeptics refined her critical outlook and solidified her preference for skepticism over pseudo-science. In March 2025, she published the true-crime book: "Genverbranders – Paranormale fraude, casinofraude en moord: Achter de schermen bij Robbert, Stan en Joran" "Gene Burners – Paranormal Fraud, Casino Fraud, and Murder: Behind the Scenes of Robbert, Stan and Joran" In November 2025, Constantia released her book Another Davis in three languages: German, English, and Dutch. In Another Davis, she recounts the extraordinary journey that began after the death of Dutch skeptic Rob Nanninga in 2014. In Davis, California, she discovered a parallel realm she calls “Another Davis,” a place where Rob continues to exist and where their connection transcends physical boundaries. Guided by the lion — Rob’s totem — and supported by an inner crew of plush lions that bridge their worlds, she tells a true story of enduring love, soul-connection, and the mysterious workings of the multiverse.
