Colm Field writes middle grade action adventures aimed at 7-12 year olds, and has teen/Y.A. horror books coming out under the name Frank Cadaver (subtle, I know).

With another job on construction sites fixing marble and granite, he writes mainly on his phone, and using their screens to write whenever they can is something he strongly encourages children to do at the many school events he hosts. Colm lives in London with his partner and their 3 kids. It's the noisy house with last year's Halloween decks still dotted around the place in case you were wondering. He's also written short films screened at Raindance and Encounters among other festivals, has written for Secret Cinema and is occasionally asked to rewrite emails onsite when someone's having a barney and wants to cut back on the bad language.
