Colin Hester is a British-born former student of Zen and a former thirty-year-old paperboy. From an early age, he was deeply affected by his mother’s experiences as a young girl living through the London Blitz of WW II: the death of her R.A.F. brother; her time as an evacuee. The author of Diamond Sutra, he has taught writing at Central Washington University, the University of Montana, and the University of Colorado. He lives just north of Seattle with his British-born wife and their U.S.-born cat. He is currently at work finishing the prequel/sequel to Death and the Butterfly.
