Clint was born in Houston, TX where he grew up playing baseball and fell in love with movies. After graduating with an emphasis in film production and analysis from TCU, he left for Los Angeles to pursue writing and directing. Cutting his teeth doing sketch comedy, he’s written, produced and directed original comedy for everybody from Comedy Central and ABC, to any online comedy destination you can think of (including and especially the now-defunct ones) and in 2019 he directed his first feature film. Along the way he also became a veteran pop culture writer, running a YouTube channel called CineFix where for years he’s written video essays analyzing film, television and books. He's currently the Managing Features Producer for IGN’s Entertainment team. After writing screenplays with Evan Gaustad, the pair decided to try writing books. Since then, they've written their Sisyphus Trilogy with 2019's It's Not the End of the World and following it up with Countdown Phoenix and Belendith: Queen of the Ash Heap in 2020. Clint lives in Los Angeles with his wife, kids and St. Bernard.
