Author's Biography The author began his adult life trying to put himself through college working for an oil field equipment manufacturer in his home town of Dallas, Texas before moving out on his own before he was out of High School. Frustrated at the slow pace of his achievement of his college degree, he re-focused his life to begin a business "career" with a temporary part-time job at a major air conditioning distributor. He started there as a fork lift operator and warehouse worker in late 1979. Less than 6 years later in 1985, he was the senior vice-president of sales of that same company, with a staff of over 125 people and 50 million dollars in wholesale sales responsibility. The author resigned that executive position on Dec 31, 1986 to start his own business and ultimately become a licensed and registered Commodity Trading Advisor (CTA). He is the author of the investment software programs "Tradesight" and "Option Master", which are stock and commodity futures and options analysis programs. The author spoke at, and prepared white papers for, major investment conferences from 1987 through 1991 all across the US, with cassette tapes of his lectures sold around the world. The author was listed as "Who's Who in Futures" by Futures magazine from 1989 to 1991. The author sold his software company, advisory firm and brokerage operations in 1991 and began a commercial real estate development company founded in 1992. In 1995 the author opened his first warehouse business subsidiary, self-storage, which has seen two expansions and future warehouse land purchases and development. In 2006, The author and his wife granted a gift of love on behalf of their grandparents to found "BalClay Foundation", a foundation dedicated to bringing a Christian Church to a very fast growing area outside Austin by providing 3 acres of land along the major highway that serves the area. Currently, the author and his wife are working feverishly to support their their second foundation, "The National Thyroid Foundation" which provides free testing at free clinics to people suspected of thyroid disease but unable to afford the necessary laboratory testing. Today, the author still runs his privately held real estate businesses, and actively trades stocks, futures, options and bonds for his own account as well as that of others. He has written for more than 20 years, and continues to write, a detailed investment advisory letter for a great number of past customers, friends, and associates, on how to manage their 401k, retirement, and investment accounts.
