I'm a writer and a musician. Born and raised in Seattle. Never lived very far away from Seattle for any long period. Found a magical relationship with a perfect woman, at least perfectly matched to me, as a very young man and we're still together and in love 47 years later. I have two wonderful kids, and two very spoiled cats. I've always been something of a maverick. Whatever "everybody" says to do, that's normally what I am most reluctant to pursue. I hope my writing reflects this. My fans, (both of them, if I remember correctly), say I bring a "unique voice" to the printed page. My musical critics also comment on my "unique" voice, but not usually as favorably. What will you find in my books? It's my hope you will find compelling characters, eye-opening descriptions, emotional validity, and frank dialogue. In some cases, like the "Summertime" books, you will have no idea how the story will resolve until the last few pages. Ideally, you will realize the ending isn't a total "surpise". There were clues throughout, like breadcrumbs along a forest trail. In other cases, like "The Rabbi's Gift", it isn't all that difficult to guess how the story is going to end. But, there may be some magical surprises in the journey. Deeper insight into emotional dynamics will help flesh out historical characters. Enough of this "biography". Read my books because they are rollicking good tales. Enjoy them. Review them. Recommend them to a friend. Certainly don't read them because some guy, full of himself, posted a puff piece on Amazon.
