Christopher Matthews is an American author of children’s books. Born in 1969 in Chattanooga, Tennessee. He grew up in locations throughout the South and the Caribbean where he sailed with his family part of his high school years. This introduced him to cultures, languages and life experiences while visiting US Territories and countries like the British Virgin Islands, Dominica Republic, Haiti, Bahamas and many others before finishing high school in Merritt Island Florida. Matthews attended Palm Beach Atlantic University in West Palm Beach, Florida where he graduated with Bachelors of Science degree. He married his childhood sweetheart and became the father of two girls who were the inspiration for his series of children's adventures.
