Christie Hsiao is an Asian-American producer, author, and entrepreneur. After earning her BA in East Asian Studies from UCLA and an MBA from Pepperdine University, Christie went on to study film in New York City. While there, she wrote, directed, and produced several well-reviewed films before going on to consult for industry executives and production companies. It is Christie's vision to create positive entertainment that is uplifting, international in scope, and inspires change. She believes in the unique power of story to raise awareness and to compel societal transformation based on love. Christie's first book, "Journey to Rainbow Island", a young-adult fantasy novel published by Perseus Publishing, made the New York Times bestseller list after three weeks of release. Her newly released book, "Return of the Warlock", second in the Rainbow Island series, encourages readers to choose courage over fear, have faith, and embrace truth to overcome challenges. Since the book's release, Christie has been invited to deliver motivational presentations at schools and informative events in U.S., Europe, and Asia.
