Chris Ayres is a screenwriter, a Los Angeles-based contributing editor at British GQ and The Sunday Times Magazine, and an award-winning New York Times-bestselling author. As a screenwriter, Chris has sold scripts to Apple TV+, CBS network and Ingenious Media - the latter in partnership with Endeavor Content and XIX Entertainment - with producers including Jimmy Kimmel, Eric Tannenbaum and Simon Fuller. A former Los Angeles bureau chief of The Times of London and advice columnist for Rolling Stone with Ozzy Osbourne, Chris was briefly a war reporter in Iraq and, before that, a financial journalist in New York and London. His books include War Reporting for Cowards and I Am Ozzy (with Ozzy) - the latter winning Literary Achievement of the Year at the Guys' Choice Awards. Born and raised in Northumberland, England, Chris lives in Los Angeles with his wife, Lucie, an interior designer, and their two children.
