Chiara Parenti (1980) was born in Lucca where she lives with her husband, her son, a dog, a cat and two chicken. Graduated in Philosophy, she is a freelance journalist and works in communication field. In January 2017 she made her debut in bookstores with the novel “La voce nascosta delle pietre” (Garzanti), translated in Spain and Latin America for Ediciones B and in Poland for Wydawnictwo Znak. In May 2017, her first successful eBook "Tutta colpa del mare (e anche un po' di un mojito") was printed by BUR Rizzoli. In June 2018 was released “Per lanciarsi dalle stelle” for Garzanti, translated in Spain and Latin America for Ediciones B and in Poland for Wydawnictwo Znak. From 2022 the audiobook is also on Audible. In March 2019 her first young adult "Un intero attimo di beatitudine" was released for Dea Planeta. On October 5, the film based on her novel of the same name "Per lanciarsi dalle stelle" was released on Netflix. The sequel "Per sfiorare le nuvole" will be released on October 18 for Garzanti.
