Award winning artist and author Cherie Fruehan was born and raised in Scranton, Pennsylvania. She earned her BFA from Marywood University and credits her education with inspiring her to dabble in all things creative. She currently resides in Dallas, Texas, where when she is not writing, she is painting. A member of MENSA, her artwork has been published on the front cover and inside pages of the organization's magazine, the MENSA Bulletin. She is the author of The Suicide of Sophie Rae and Dinner With The Hawthornes, the latter which has been awarded an Honorable Mention from Writer's Digest.
