Chantalia's inspiring sweet exotic music with her smoothing voice crosses musical borders from easting-listening to jazz, bossa nova and latino styles. She was born in Hong Kong. A singer, songwriter, pianist at the same time.
She did not begin her classical piano studies until she was a teenager but with her distinguished talents she attained the performance standards within a few years. After obtaining her University Degree in English, she went to Los Angeles (Musicians Institute) completing an intensive course on keyboard, a milestone at which she embarked her journey as a musician.
Returning to Hong Kong, Chantalia gained admiration by renowned music producer and was invited as a music writer. Her first composition "千金" was chosen as the main song of an album of "Twins", Hong Kong top-selling female group. This song has become no.1 in ALL major Hong Kong music charts shortly after it was published and won a number of music awards for "Twins". Chantalia was also nominated as "Cash the best new songwriter in Asia" in Radio Television Hong Kong (RTHK) Music Award 2004.
Moreover, Chantalia has been participating in recordings of various TV jingles including brands like British Airway, SONY, NATIONAL, Majorie Bertagne and the production of Hong Kong movie "Happy Birthday" produced by well-known female director Sylvia Cheng.
She is now travelling and preparing her debut “concept album” ~ a 10 year journey in 10 countries.
Recently, she also wrote books about self-help and her journey.
