After teaching about her family’s worship and receiving numerous queries regarding the information being available in written form, Carolyn wrote her first book, Devotions for Families That Can't Sit Still, which offers creative and fun ideas for family-oriented activities saturated with bible stories and opportunities for spiritual growth. That book sold so well that she wrote a sequel, More Devotions for Families That Can’t Sit Still, and her career was launched. Several non-fiction books followed those first two, but she's also written four novels: Jordan's Bend; Bridge to a Distant Star; Simon's Song: A Tale of Adventure and Friendship; and her latest, a romance with a touch of history and adventure/mystery, The Gravestones' Secrets. Carolyn was born in Columbus, Ohio, and remains an enthusiastic Ohio State University Buckeyes fan. She loves spending time with her husband Craig and family; hiking in Colorado or kayaking and paddle boarding in Texas; and she's always reading at least one book!
