Carolyn Findlay Davis was born in Illinois. She is a retired RN and former educator. She received A BS in Education from Millikin University in Decatur,IL, where she taught in the public school system. She graduated from the Graham Hospital School of Nursing in Canton, IL, and has worked as a Registered Nurse in Illinois and Florida. She obtained her MS in Community Health Education from Western Illinois University in Macomb, IL.
Carolyn was inducted into Phi Kappa Phi, Phi Theta Kappa and was a Certified Diabetes Educator and a Certified Health Education Specialist.
Carolyn obtained a Certificate of Completion from the Institute of Children's Literature and has published seven children's books and numerous articles and poems.
She is now retired and resides in Indiana. Carolyn is blessed with three children, eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Her love for reading was instilled at an early age by her father, Albert Findlay, who not only read books to her, but told her his own bedtime stories every night. His encouragement over the years has been the inspiration behind her creative writing, bringing life to all types of imaginary creatures.
