In his early teenage years, Caleb began reading books about money and various financial strategies. Unlike his peers, he was saving and trying to multiply his money. With great success, investing in stocks quickly became an intriguing game. With an insatiable thirst to know more, Caleb started turning to already-successful people in hopes to mirror what they had accomplished. Leveraging his age, he was able to acquire a course on trading options that normally cost thousands of dollars, for free. This set him on a path to eventually contact some of the top financial advisors from across the country with a simple goal, to learn. Caleb’s first job was not so glamorous, gutting chickens is a far-cry from meeting clients in an air-conditioned office. At the age of 17 he was offered a teller position at a local community bank. Being exposed to real-life financial situations offered more questions than answers. After roughly a year of gleaning everything he could from the teller role, Caleb asked if he could get some exposure to the investment side of things at the bank. To his excitement, he became the assistant to the bank’s chief investment advisor. Around the same time, Caleb started his Bachelor’s in Business Finance, completing it in three years at the University of Wisconsin – Stevens Point. At the age of nineteen, still in college, Caleb was extended an offer to take over the investment division by the bank’s CEO. Timid but thrilled, he accepted and immediately set off on a journey to do the very best he could for his to-be clients. He read books, asked questions, called people, and travelled extensively. He sought out and positioned himself to study under the best mentors he could find regarding finance, taxes, insurance and investments. He travelled the country for over two years to ensure he would be able to provide the best strategies for his clients. Now twenty-two, Caleb has started a business, Better Wealth Solutions, which focuses primarily on financial education. He has the ability to work in all 50 states and shows his clients how to take control of their wealth today, while preparing for their financial future at the same time. He accomplishes this by utilizing videos, books, blogs, and a podcast. His personal mission is to, “Help people see and reach their highest potential.” Few people Caleb’s age have dedicated their lives to helping the millions of people in need of a better way financially.
