"The wonderful things in life are the things you do, not the things you have" - Reinhold Messner. Constant Goda was born and raised in the City of Calapan on the island of Mindoro, in The Philippines. He graduated from San Juan De Dios College in Manila with a degree in Medical Technology and for the past 25 years has worked as a Medical Laboratory Scientist, in The Philippines, Oman, and the USA. In addition to his day job, Constant has recently added the title of author to his list of accomplishments. Seeing the enormous pressure that health workers face and the excess of stress and anxiety-related conditions they suffer from, he felt compelled to create a book that would help these people to heal. Brush Away Burnout and Anxiety provides stressed-out health workers with a new way to overcome the emotional occupational hazards they experience through the medium of visual art. His second book, The Body Knows: Art Based Somatic Therapy, follows a similar theme, using Somatic Art Therapy as a means of getting one’s life back from trauma and pain, while also relieving stress and restoring the mind-body connection. His third book. One Dollar Happiness, is out now, it's about the simple joys and experiences that enrich life emphasizing the value of relationship, gratitude and personal growth without the high cost. Today, Constant is married with two children and currently lives in Kansas City, Missouri. In his free time, he enjoys music, walking, playing tennis, the arts, traveling, reading books, eating out, and sampling different cuisines. He also devotes some of his time to volunteer work, supporting the activities of a Cancer Research Hospital for Children, and working as an English tutor for Ukrainian student affected by the war. His hopes for the future, are that people from around the world will be helped through his books and find some relief from the pressures of their everyday lives.
