C.M. Colson is the author of EPIZON, which follows a young woman who is struggling to escape domestic violence. She chose to write about this topic because, as a survivor of domestic violence herself, she understands the fear and judgement victims of DV face everyday. She grew up with a love of books, and after being encouraged to use her own story as inspiration for a novel, she felt a pull to tell the world what victims of abuse face every day. Domestic violence survivors each have a different story to tell, but at the same time, those stories are also very much the same. C.M. lives with her husband and their three cats Coco Chanel, Sylvester and Moon Pie. She loves walking to the beach while listening to audiobooks. She has three adult children. She advocates to spread awareness for domestic violence and trauma survivors.
