C.A. Hartnell spent her grammar school years during the 1950s at Cherrylee School in El Monte, California, home of American Legion Stadium where rock 'n' roll and "hopped up" hot rods thrived and multiplied. Hartnell was a board member of BHLH Guild at Loma Linda University Children's Hospital Southern California, and has authored six activity books, and written articles for newsletters and newspapers for the hospital. She lives with her husband in the Southwest United States and has four grown children who have blessed her with grandchildren and great grandchildren. Hartnell desires to entertain plus encourage readers of all ages, and especially Baby Boomers who will purchase these books for their children and grandchildren.
