Brian Lenahan (1963 - ) was born in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada to Canadian parents (almost 200 years of residency makes us Canadian), and has continued to move west throughout his career. First to Kingston to attend Queen's University, then to Toronto where the world of Canadian banking is centered. Today, he works and lives with his family in Mississauga, Ontario. While banking represented a huge part of his career, Brian always saw himself more as an innovator than a banker. He had the good fortune to work for some inspiring leaders who gave him the room to grow, invent, and innovate. So when he retired in 2017, Brian leaped at the chance to bring that innovation thought leadership into the world's leading technology, artificial intelligence. Where do you go for the best in AI education? The Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) Sloan School of Management, of course. MIT allowed Brian to study not so much the coding side of AI, rather the strategy side of this new technology. Brian's advanced technology profile expanded to include quantum computing with time with CERN and TU Delft. Since then, Brian has been conducting workshops, doing speaking engagements, consulting, and is a University Instructor.
