Pastor and Bible teacher, Brent Phillips, is no stranger to facing overwhelming odds. Kicked out of their home by his father, Brent, his mother and brother, began a journey of living by faith on a daily basis believing God for food and shelter. As an early-childhood asthma sufferer, Brent could barely walk, let alone run. He and his family stood by faith on the promise of Isaiah 40:31 that he would "run and not be weary..." Brent experienced the fulfillment of that promise when in high school, he broke a school record in track. Brent studied software engineering at Rand Afrikaans University, South Africa, and owned his own development company before moving to the U.S. in 2002, where he was ordained. Brent continues to use his technology skills as an advisor to many companies and through Never Just Exist Ministries, the gospel is reaching across the globe through his blogs, teachings and church plants. Brent now lives in Houston with his wife Daniela, and their kids.
