Bobbi Dempsey

Bobbi Dempsey started her journalism career covering small-town corruption for a daily newspaper, where she also created several popular series. She eventually moved on to freelance writing. For a while, she specialized in interviewing celebrities, CEOs and other high-profile people. These days, she frequently writes about personal finance and loves helping people become savvy consumers and discover new ways to save money. To share information and advice for this audience, she has created a website called

Bobbi hopes to someday move to a secluded beach bungalow where she cannot be reached by email, IM or cell phone - but yet can still get a satellite signal to sustain her addiction to bad reality TV.
