Bob Maddux has been writing since his high school creative writing class. He's written 3 non-fiction books dealing with spiritual issues: Good Samaritan Therapy - Real Medicine For the Soul, Fantasy Explosion (winner of the Angel Award and currently out of print) and Reluctantly Supernatural in an Age of Reason - Lepers in the Twilight (Recently released). His first book was the Sci-Fi/Fantasy novel Gem of the Wanderer which just went through a major re-write (over 500 pages) and is now released under his pen name R. D. Maddux. The new version is now available in both Kindle and paperback on Amazon. His latest book, Boy on the Beach is set on the coast of California. It's a mystery novel filled with intriguing twists and turns dealing with one of the major moral issues of our day. He's the founding pastor of Trinity Church San Diego (www.trinitychurchsandiego.tv). In the last 40 years he has traveled to over 100 nations, much of it to train leaders and assist in humanitarian ventures. He's the co-founder of Project Compassion (www.projectcompassion.org), a medical mission that has treated over 200,000 patients in 22 countries. Besides writing He's also a movie producer. His most recent project was Mzungu (IMDb Executive Producer), the story of 4 young men encountering Africa's lives and crisis. He's also just released a new mystery novel , Boy on the Beach and it can be found on Amazon in both kindle and paperback, under his pen name R. D. Maddux. He lives in San Diego, California with his wife of 48 years and is the proud father of 3 grown children and 6 grandchildren.
