Bert Harrison was born and grew up in Edinburgh but has lived with his wife for the last 10 years in a small village in the Scottish Highlands, where he works in the local community as a self-employed gardener. Bert’s interest in horticulture is something that came to him a bit later in life, after he had tried his hand at several other things. A friend asked him for some help one weekend, and he found that working outdoors suited him, so he gave up his dead-end job in the city and made a new life for himself. It was while working in one of his regular customer’s gardens that Bert first discovered what was locally known as ‘magic mushrooms’ and before long he had found that they had a wide range of uses. He quickly realised that there were many myths surrounding them and so he decided to expose many of them in a book. Psilocybin Mushrooms: The Ultimate Step-By-Step Guide to Growing Psychedelic Magic Mushrooms, Safe Use and Benefits, details how to cultivate these amazing fungi and is perfect for anyone who is interested in growing their own. In his spare time, Bert enjoys walking in the hills around his home, fishing and sampling real ale. He loves to take his motorcycle out on a fine day and explore some of the lesser travelled roads and he is a huge fan of rugby, often going back to Edinburgh to catch a game. Bert has no set plans for the future. His life is about as perfect as it can be ri9ght now and he is enjoying his new-found fame as one of the few experts on cultivating psilocybin mushrooms.
