Beka Modrekiladze is a theoretical physicist, author, and computer scientist. He earned his PhD in Physics from Carnegie Mellon University, where he developed new frameworks for gravitational waves using effective field theory and explored how artificial intelligence can be fused with fundamental physics to accelerate discoveries. Modrekiladze has become known to a wider audience through his popular science book Eternal Gods Die Too Soon. He gave a talk at the NSF AI Institute: Physics of the Future and has appeared on several podcasts discussing his research. Born in Tbilisi, he was a child prodigy, achieving candidate master status in chess at the age of eight and graduating from Art College in music before beginning his undergraduate studies in physics.
