Beeda L. Speis is a non-fiction Christian writer who lives in Dayton, Ohio. She is an author, blogger, and Bible teacher who lives to encourage, inspire, and facilitate spiritual growth in others. Her belief and ministry focus on teaching others stillness, how to quiet their minds in order to focus their prayers and meditation on God alone. In this stillness, believers can draw closer to their merciful Father and be filled with joy and peace. It's during one of those quiet moments that God called her to write about her struggles with faith. Beeda's work has been published in the anthology "Overcoming Fear" and is forthcoming in "Sisterhood Is Powerful Except When It Is Not: Research and Personal Perspectives About Bullying in the Female World," as well as Mock Turtle Zine. She is a contributor to, and the Ohio coordinator for, Essay Daily. She writes daily on her blog, sharing personal stories, Bible verses and prayers for others.
