Positions included: wife, mom, daughter, friend, elementary teacher in the bay area; CompuGraph typesetter; Adult Educator; Author; executive director of eye surgery center. Retired at 72-years.

On Camano Island, Washington, Barbara loves to throw around ideas with her husband, family and friends; though she requires time alone, growing in meditation, writing, digital painting, creating, philosophizing, reaching out to family and friends, living the happy moments. Barbara continues to seek life through the eyes of love and kindness.

Her recent book, "Getting To Happy: Learning to Read Emotional Messages", is indicative of the her philosophy 's current path.
