BT Murphy was born in San Francisco, California. She grew up being encouraged to write by her Mother who was a local Journalist. From an early age, she was already writing stories for her friends and family. One of her favourite books in her teens was the Lord of the Rings Trilogy. She was given the Hobbit as a class assignment and she fell in love with the worlds that Tolkien created. Her short stories revolved around fantasy which eventually grew into the Dystopian genre. She is now working as a Freelance Writer in San Francisco. When she's not writing, she heads to her favourite beach to ride some waves. If she's not there, she's travelling around the world. Her travels have brought her to many amazing places. Her bucket list grows daily. She is excited as she enters the published Author world. Her readers are what has helped her grow and will continue to help her push boundaries within in her writing.
