BJ Harris was born in Glendale Arizona and grew up in an Air Force family. She spent most of her life in the suburban Detroit area working as a surgery technician and office manager in the ophthalmology field. She and her husband Scott celebrated their 25th Wedding Anniversary in 2023 and they have two college-age children, Shelby and Mike. BJ was always enthralled by the stories her now-retired detective husband and his co-workers would tell over a meal or at a function. Always creatively inclined, BJ decided to take notes early on, intending to write about them. Nearly an empty nester now, these are those stories.
