Laura Leonora Corvino is native of Lombardy, in Northern Italy. She studied Literature at the State University of Milan. After moving to Milan, she found a job in import-export. She began to travel a lot for work and she became passionate about foreign cultures and languages. She moved to Atlanta in 2005 for family reasons. In 2006 she began teaching all levels Italian classes at the Language Institute of Atlanta where she is still working. She has also tutored Italian classes at Georgia Perimeter College, at the International Language Institute of Atlanta, at the Italiano Language Center and at Berlitz. After 13 years of teaching Italian, Laura perfected her teaching skills and she is always looking for improvement. Laura became a proud American citizen in February 2018. After following a few classes of calculus at Georgia Perimeter College, Laura became passionate about the subject of Mathematics and she decided to further her knowledge in the field by pursuing a college degree. In 2014 she received her bachelor's in Mathematics with a minor in Spanish from Georgia State University. In the meanwhile, she had the opportunity to work for an Atlanta based company as a director of sales. She loved deeply the "art of marketing" and she decided to enroll in an MBA program at Kennesaw State University. She graduated in 2017.
