My purpose is to create intimacy to find the brokenness and help families become whole once more. I've walked paths of joy and sorrow with hundreds of families. Once, after attending a funeral, I asked my office manager to create a list of the unexpected deaths I had been touched by. As I stared at that legal pad, I remembered the uniqueness of each family's story as I paused on each name. In my hands, I held the lives of moms and dads who had planned for their love to continue for generations, beyond their own lives. Over several years, I recreated these stories. I interviewed spouses and family members that had touched my life. We often cried together as we shared these memories. This book is laid out in a sequence of chapters that touch, that express love and that teaches you how to do the same for your family. My book opens with a story of a young mother of two, dying of cancer, who passionately asks; no, who practically demanded me to complete this book project, knowing the importance it held. My book's first several chapters are love stories, followed by a chapter sharing how the promise of the life insurance asset works. It continues with two more love chapters followed by another teaching chapter, then repeats this same sequence through to its conclusion, keeping my promise to that young mother.
