Rob Lopez writes thrillers and post-apocalypse stories. He is the author of the highly successful Solar Storm series. Born and resident in the UK, he's been a factory mechanic, cleaner, teaching assistant and delivery driver. He still drives for a living and says he gets most of his ideas on the road. His interests include photography, history and talking about himself in the third person. Like now. Claims to enjoy writing intelligent action stories. Make of that what you will. Reading has been a passion since age seven. Writing took a little longer. As far as influences go, he admires the grounded realism of Len Deighton, the deft plotting and characterization of Martin Cruz Smith and the lean prose of Robert B. Parker. He is the author of the new Matt Beach thriller series and is likely working on the next book as we speak. He hopes you enjoy his work.
