A. Pagliaro is the author of the novels "Il sangue degli altri" (Sironi, 2007, reissued in 2013 in the Noir Italia series by Sole 24 Ore, new revised edition by Laurana in 2022), "I cani di via Lincoln" (Laurana, 2010, reissued in 2014 in the Noir Italia series by Sole 24 Ore), "La notte del gatto nero" (Guanda, 2012), "Il bacio della bielorussa" (Guanda, 2015), and the true crime books: "Il giapponese cannibale" (Senzapatria, 2010), "Storia terribile delle bambine di Marsala" (Zolfo, 2020), "Morirono nella notte. Il mistero della White House Farm" (Laurana, 2023), "Pelle. Il caso Katarzyna Zowada" (Zolfo, 2023), "“Il fantasma di Heilbronn. La donna senza volto” (Zolfo, 2023). He edited the anthology "Palermo criminale. Il grande romanzo della città" (2014) for Laurana, which includes his short story "Martina che cantava a Capodanno." For Zolfo, he is the editor of the true crime series "Zolfo nero."
