Anthony DeGroot was born in Watertown, South Dakota. At the age of two, he moved to Pleasant Grove, Utah, where he spent his youth. After high school, he enlisted in the Marines, serving eleven years. Filled with creativity and inspired by his experiences, he has always shown a strong desire and talent to write; he artfully weaves his tales to capture readers and audiences of all walks. Currently he called Montgomery, Alabama, home, where he resides with his family.
