Anshu Johri authors poems, short stories, and plays in Hindi & English. She has a Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from San Jose State University, California. She started "Udgam", one of the first online Hindi literary magazines of the world in 1998 and was its editor till 2004. Her published works include "Scraped" (Collection of stories in English, 2021), "Khule Prishtha" (collection of poems, 1990), "Shesh Phir" (Collection of short stories, 2004), "Boond ka Dwandwa" (A collection of poems, 2014), "Adrishya Kinara (Collection of stories, 2015) and "Tumse Jude Bina" (Collection of poems, 2017). Her poems and stories have appeared in "Kadambini", "Navneet", Hans, Vaagarth", "Vartmaan Saahitya", "Kathakram", "Kathabimb", "Akshara", "Hindi Jagat", "Hindi Chetna", "Vibhom Swar", and "Vishwa", among various others. Her work in English has appeared in "Dukool", "Vine Leaves Literary Journal", "Calliope", "Creation and Criticism", "Caesura", "Storizen" and "SAGE" and "Soul-Lit". She lives in San Jose, California.
