Annette Amanda Oyékunlè Fisher is a Mum, an award-winning UK trained RIBA Chartered Architect, designer, frequent flyer and campaigner for women and diversity. Born in the UK of Nigerian and Sierra Leonean parents and raised in Lagos, until the age of 17. Then she left to complete her A levels in Oxford, attended Bath and then Strathclyde Universities, and after qualifying stayed on to work for large commercial London practices. In the past 30 years, her practice FA Global, has operated internationally in UK, USA, and Nigeria www.fa-global.co.uk. Now founder and Co-Chair Unionne a consortium of female led architects’ practices, which has won a place on the 2021 LHC Southwark London framework www.unionne.co. Formerly Mrs Fisher Evans-Anfom, she lives with her daughter Francetta, a creative copywriter and award finalist Afrobeat Music Blogger www.datsmuzik.co.uk. Other activities: Former Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) Vice President and Nominated Presidential candidate. Former Chairman and board member Kush Housing Association, and Places for People Diversity Group Board member. Former Executive Council member of Association of Consultant Architects Nigeria (ACAN). Former Trustee of The Africa Centre London, and Trustee and former alternate Regional VP Europe of the Commonwealth Association of Architects (CAA). Member of the Nigerian Institute of Architects (MNIA). Currently founder and Chair of Let’s Build a televised forum celebrating women and underrepresented architects in UK www.lets-build.it.
