Angela Stephens is a self made Entrepreneur as she owns three businesses, and is the Author to two Guided Anxiety Journals: "Focusing on your Journey" designed for Young Adults. In addition, she is the Author of "RE-Focusing on your Journey" for adults. Mrs. Stephens has had life experiences that have led her to creating the two Guided Anxiety Journals, “RE-Focusing on Your Journey” s designed for Adults. She has faced great sadness through divorce, loss of a sister who was ten when she was 16, dealing with anxiety, social media, being a single parent, being left out and understanding loneliness, and having ADHD along with anxiety.... Topics include social media, being left out, careers, relationships and more. “Focusing on your Journey” is designed for Young Adults. As she witnessed her son, and his friends deal with social media, texting, dating, fitting in, anxiety, depression, addiction and more.... she became the Mom that other young adults would come to for advice on careers, anxiety, fitting in, being left out, not being invited to that dance and more.... Along with her team, they have created a Guided Anxiety Journal for the Young Adults who may need help but do not want to ask for it or do not show it. This journal is a way for those individuals to help express themselves by answering questions with prompts. This Journal is a way to help with anxiety, school, feeling left out in apps like snapchat, twitter, and more. A single parent of a child with ADHD for ten years, she learned many life lessons. She also went through a very sad divorce when her son was very young. She has had experiences that have led her to understand children, forgiveness, change, and learning how to turn the bad into good. When she was a single Mother, her child was diagnosed in the 5th grade with ADHD at a high level and he had difficulty in school and in life. Mrs. Stephens was diagnosed at age 45. She understands the challenges of ADHD, as well as Anxiety which has provided a broad look of the challenges of not only ADHD, but symptoms of Anxiety. She felt the stigma of ADHD through other people not understanding truly what ADHD was. She felt isolation when she was left out of social gatherings, and spent many days at her son's school helping him through challenging times. Her son has never been ashamed to have ADHD, in fact he embraces it.
