I wrote my first book, "How to Pay for College with Grants & Scholarships", purely out of my own experiences, and what I learned about grant and scholarship writing. The primary thing that I wish I had known is that the people who are reading your application want to know that they are giving money to someone who will put it to good use. In other words, they want to know that you have a clear vision for your success plan in your career. That's what you should write about. In my book, I cut down a lot of the guesswork as to which grants and scholarships you should apply for, and which you shouldn't waste your time on. I wish I had this guide when I was starting as a freshman in college, or maybe even earlier. Happy reading!
