Alexander G. Lovelace (Ph.D.) is a historian and writer whose research focuses on the Second World War, command decisions, and military-media relations. He has written numerous academic and non-academic articles including for The Journal of Military History, Encyclopedia Britannica Online, and Parameters: United States Army War College Quarterly. He is a member of the Society for Military History. Lovelace graduated from Messiah College in 2011 and from George Washington University in 2013. He completed a doctorate in history from Ohio University in 2020. Currently, he is a scholar in residence at the Contemporary History Institute in Athens, Ohio.
