Adam Fisher was born in New York and at the age of 21 began travelling the world. At the age of 23 he found himself in Israel and was introduced to the Israeli hybrid martial art of Krav Maga, which focuses on highly aggressive self-defense. On his return to the US, Adam opened his own Krav Maga school and has since written a number of books on the subject, attracting a wide readership which includes well-known celebrities, politicians and public figures. Adam now lives a much more sedate life, preferring to spend time with his family than travelling. He enjoys reading, writing books, keeping fit and relaxing with friends, as well as continuing to perfect his Krav Maga art.
