Abheek Singhi leads The Boston Consulting Group's (BCG) Consumer and Retail practice in India. He also heads BCG's Consumer Products sector in Asia Pacific. He has worked with clients in emerging markets including India, China, South East Asia and in the Middle East. He has also worked in the San Francisco office of BCG with clients in the United States and Canada. Abheek has worked in the private, public and government sectors on issues related to strategy, operational excellence and organizational improvement. He has been a member of the National FMCG and Retail Committees of the Confederation of Indian Industry for several years. In that role, he has worked to monitor the industry trends and also shape industry wide response. He has authored several seminal reports on the Indian consumer and retail sectors – including "The Tiger Roars" , "Building a New India" and "Agribusiness: Cultivating New Opportunities". Abheek is a frequent contributor to national newspapers and a speaker at leading conferences and seminars.
