I hold a master's degree in Comparative Literature from Princeton University. I had a long career as a Unix administrator. I am now retired. I write to occupy myself, as well as to expose my interests in the nature of the bewildering reality we find ourselves a part of. I use fantasy characters to shed new light on old problems. For me, writing about my characters is being a part of the world they inhabit and I have a strong affection for each and every one of them, even the "bad guys." When I write I inhabit that world with them and experience their lives. I hope you enjoy the world I escape to when daily reality threatens to overcome me.
