Rev. A.R. Bernard is the founder and CEO of the Christian Cultural Center (CCC). Located in New York City, this faith-based organization currently has over 28,000 members and is situated on a welcoming 11-acre campus. Drawing on his beginnings in the financial industry, Bernard has built a familiar brand associated with positive, life-changing experiences and focused on customer service. Through his practical application of principles approach, and the successful leadership programs he has created, Bernard has become much in demand as a speaker by some of the leading "Fortune 500" companies, universities, colleges and faith based organizations. Rev. Bernard is the founder of Brooklyn Preparatory School (BPS) in New York City. Formed in 1993, BPS is a premiere early education institution dedicated to serving young children, ages 3-6. Presidents, Senators, and a host of other influential figures have honored Bernard for his outstanding leadership and achievements. New York Magazine named Bernard as one of their "Most Influential New Yorkers". This February, he was named by a consortium of organizations in the New York Daily News as the number one religious leader in New York. Also, by the same group, he was voted the second most influential African American New Yorker out of a list of 30 diverse leaders in New York. On February 27, 2007, he was honored with a lifetime achievement award by the Consulate General of Israel in New York, the Jewish Community Relations Council and the Jewish National Fund. Prompted by Bernard's influence as a life coach to many high profile individuals, People Magazine recently highlighted his bi-coastal study group, which remains well attended by celebrities, sports figures and entertainers. bio_pic2.jpgHe is the host of two weekly television broadcasts which both air on TBN - A.R. Bernard, airs Sundays at 9:30 a.m. EST and New York Now, a weekly public affairs cable show. Bernard's compelling radio broadcasts can be heard on WRKS (KISS) FM, Sirius Satellite Radio and WMCA. He is a current member of the Board of Directors of the New York City Economic Development Corporation ("EDC") and Chancellor Joel Klein's Cabinet of the New York City Department of Education. He has served as a member of the NYC Police Department Advisory Board for Courtesy, Professionalism and Respect, under the leadership of Commissioner Howard Safir. Bernard also served on Mayor Michael Bloomberg's 2001 Transition Team of the City of New York. Bernard received a Masters Degree in Divinity from Alliance Seminary, Nyack College. And while the Minister is proud of these accomplishments and honors, he remains un-phased. He is pastoral by nature and does not view himself as a superstar nor a politician. Reverend Bernard believes his mission in life is to dynamically present and communicate the teaching of Christ in Culture. And whether it is world affairs, politics, pop-culture, the family, etc., he is determined to see and teach a practical approach to life, from a traditional biblical perspective. He resolves that his success is a result of hard work and God's grace upon his life.
