I'm a sucker for a good story - that's really the long and short of it. I grew up in a family where reading is considered a primary form of entertainment. I'd like to believe that's because we're a cultured bunch, and not just due to the fact that we couldn't afford cable. Don't get me wrong, I enjoy a good movie as much as anyone else, and I won't look down my nose on other forms of entertainment. But, the way that a written story can live and breathe inside of a person is truly unique, and for as long as I can remember I've wanted to be a part of that. With every story I write, I want to bring people outside of their lives and into a new experience. That's exactly what countless other writers have done for me, and now I want to pay it forward.
