She’s also a featured performer at the world-famous Elko National Poetry Gathering, She’s known for encouraging audiences to disconnect from their daily screens and reconnect to nature. Her performances unveil her personal experience and introduce the captivating characters of western living. She brings to life a time when people depended on intuition and one another to survive and thrive in the elements of nature and life. Through her poetry and stories, she empowers audience members to open their hearts and their horizon and honor their differences. Events and organizations across the world have hired A.K. to perform, helping them develop a deeper connection with their team or attendees, but most especially to the values and traditions of the American West.
