Another great story in any genre!!! The soft and hard science fiction was absolutely some of the best as always!!! If you expected a different ending then what we got you have definitely not read enough of this authors works, this was the perfect ending to this series and I for one hope it leads to a spin off in this storyline!!! I can't wait to see what the author comes up with next!!!
A well written conclusion to an enjoyable story. Not as amazing as I had originally though but still incredibly well put together and enjoyable. It was also incredibly satisfying. The only complaint I have is the fact that it had tons of moments where they were waiting for something to happen like exiting wormhole space and decided on a chapter-long orgy. That’s why it is more a 3.5 than 4. But I’ll still round up given it’s writing.
Honestly, though, I kept thinking the tagline for this series should be “space: where no one can hear you cream”
Unlike the first two volumes, which were more action-oriented space operas, this volume was more of a quest story. I liked it, though still think the first volume was the best. In the latter two books the intimate scenes became too cringe-worthy and emotionless for my tastes, but I found that one didn't miss a thing in terms of the story or character development by skipping them entirely (which is, actually, not a good thing).
Still, the series was good and I do recommend it, with that one caveat.
This series became better and better as it spanned through books 1 - 3. It continued to gain more depth of its characters and its story as an exciting old fashioned space opera, yet it still maintained the sensuality of its core harem genre. I’ve now read all of Dan Raxor’s published ebooks and definitely look forward to more from this talented author!
I skipped a lot and I banged my head few times out of frustration. The amount of stupid banter is just ridiculous. Generally, story and plot is great. Dialogs and interaction and amount of stupid things that MC says or does just killed it for me. First book was bit better
A test if humanity has progressed to the point it should or could be saved. Good thing the man in charge is one of action and not a politician or government General.
I love this series, it is one I will read over and over. It's definitely in my top 5 best series of all time. I am really glad I can enjoy it over and over again. Thank you, Mr Raxor
It almost seems that the author got bored writing this book. It's full of pointless chatter between the characters, and the story lacks any sort of exciting edge or imagination. Pity as the first two books started off ok.
