Customer Reviews, including Product Star Ratings help customers to learn more about the product and decide whether it is the right product for them.
To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyzed reviews to verify trustworthiness.
The author takes us through an east Berlin unlike anything I could have imagined. He shows us how adolescence is a similar journey no matter where we live or which language we speak. It's both humorous with laugh out loud moments and a sad recognition of the deprivation of their lives.
Slightly sad and quirky. East Berlin families living in alley leading to the wall. Somethings are very normal, others are quite odd. Families adapt to the East German regime.
I really enjoyed this laugh-out-loud tale of teenagers set against the Berlin Wall (literally). I know this area well as now my daughter lives in Berlin, only a couple of streets away from Sonnenallee, and I could relate to the area. I also remember East Germany and what the cold war was like from a westerner's point of view. This is such an endearing story, I challenge anyone not to come away with great affection for the boys, and their paramours.
