5.0 out of 5 starsThis is an inspiring, well organized goal setting plan

There are three aspects to this book that I found most helpful. First, it is well written and easy to read. Second, the content is broken down into bite-size chapters that can be read quickly and follow a logical progression. Third, the chapters are clustered into four well-organized sections with "rapid" recaps that quickly sum up and reiterate the main points in those chapters. However, the meat of the book can be found in the author's goal-setting system, which puts an inspiring and efficient twist on a timeless subject. His FOCUSED Framework is an exciting way to set goals and stay motivated to achieve them. I also found his four "C's" of High-Performance goal setting and the problem that goal competition can cause right on the mark. The author also offered useful advice on how to prioritize goals, overcome obstacles, stay on track and enjoy long term success when accomplishing goals. Much of this advice is common sense and can be found in other books, but to have it all in one book that is so effectively organized and easy to read is rare. His writing is encouraging and inspiring, and reading it motivated me to get more organized. I took some time to get more disciplined and smarter about my own goals. It’s a good book for any age, but I think it would be extremely helpful to a younger person who is just starting to get their life organized. Of course, for us older readers it offers some motivating thoughts and good reminders on what we should be doing too.
Let me start with: I've been in personal development for years, having been in the sales world for 6+. As a result, most books/talks on goals feel tired to me (prob just due to lack of sufficient implementation on my part). That said, this was by far one of the most valuable books I've read. It was a refreshing step by step take and although it covered plenty I knew, it gave me great reminders and ideas. After implementing this timeblocking technique, I've had the most productive & more importantly, internally peaceful week in months if not years. BUY IT!
5.0 out of 5 starsJust The Book I've Been Waiting For!

This is the book that I have been waiting for! I've read many books about "self-help"; however, none of them would keep my attention. Crush Your Goals has kept my attention and has helped me figure out what will work best for me to better myself everyday and to achieve what I want. I'm currently working on reading it through for the second time. Taking my time and working through the workbook as well. Austin give many great examples throughout the book that helps bring certain concepts into a better prospective. 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking for something more in life!!!

This book is really good! I like it because the author explains why some of us don't like goal setting. For instance, because of fear of loss or being ridiculed, fear of failure or success. He then takes it apart and packages it up again neatly and coherently. I'll join his fb group. I need to hear more of what he has to share. Fresh, clear and inspiring. I like the Daily New Year's!
I love this quote from his book. "If you state your goal and they don't laugh, it's because it is not big enough." Brilliant!
5.0 out of 5 starsQuick, digestible, and implementable

This book will help you get clear on what you are working towards and help get you to those places. I especially loved the break down of the nine different goal getter mindsets; lots of habits/goals books focus on one specific thing and if that isn't you then the book doesn't help much, this one gives you some different strategies to pick what matches you. Definitely worth your time!
5.0 out of 5 starsRefreshing take on goal setting!

If you're looking for a guide to truly help you stay on track with your goals, this is it. Crush Your Goals! starts at the ground level, assisting you in developing the actual thought process behind your goal. It then guides you along the way, advising you how to navigate through the tougher stages of capturing your goal. This book isn't just a regurgitated version of any other "self development, goal setting" piece of literature you may be accustomed to. It's given me a refreshing spin on how to set goals and a clearer vision of how to accomplish them.

“ With passion comes purpose, and with purpose comes a person’s life wok.” The step by step strategies made sense to follow. This book will give you more clarity on your goals and achieving them. I recommend this book to anyone who wants to have a focused framework and clarity. I was guilty of having all the tired resolutions.
5.0 out of 5 starsA great book for anyone looking to improve their life!

Setting & meeting your personal & professional goals is key to your success. I'm a big fan of many of the greats like Simon Sinek, among others. This book does a great job of offering a fresh perspective on how to best set your goals & then actually meet them. I'm someone who likes to set goals and knows nothing feels better than meeting those goals, but this book has helped me form an actual strategy around doing both on a regular basis. I highly recommend this to anyone looking to improve their personal or professional life in a positive way by accomplishing more of what they set out to do.
