5.0 out of 5 starsYou're not alone!

I was thrilled to find these books available as a set! I love the step by step guidance and the positive encouragement but most of all I love the way Jacqui Letran lets the reader know that they are not alone. This is paradoxically something all young people feel at one time or another. I wish I had these books when I was raising my four daughters, but now with three young granddaughters in my life - I just had to get them. My 13 yo granddaughter is reading one now. and I got the kindle versions so I know they'll be available for the others who will be ready for them before I know it! Truly a must-have for every family. (And let's face it, they're written for kids - but dealing with negative self talk is something we deal with at all stages of our lives, so yes, I got them for me as well!) Highly recommended for individuals and families - of all ages :)

5.0 out of 5 starsHelps you take control for how you want to live your life

Although this book is written for teens, the tools and examples provided in these books to help you reframe your mindset when you deal with negative situations in your life are incredibly useful. She gives you the building blocks to living a life with joy and purpose by getting rid of any detrimental mental programs (i.e. I'm not good enough, nothing I do matters, the world is not fair) you have running right now. Highly recommended!
I had borrowed a copy of this book from my mom, as I've honestly been struggling for my entire life dealing with my own little voice in my head telling me I'm not good enough- or that I shouldn't try. Give this book a read- no matter how advanced in age you are... because you will definitely learn something about yourself and the little assistant in your head. It flows so well as you go through, nothing really stops the reader and makes them feel inferior- or totally at fault or wrong for how they feel or act... and it is an amazing journey!
