5.0 out of 5 stars "Can you love someone after only a few days?"

All of the Gallo men are dreamy, sexy and good to their women. They work hard, love their families and never miss Sunday dinner at their grandparents’ house. Nick Gallo is no exception. He would never leave a woman alone in a dark parking lot, so he rescued Jo and brought her home. Little did he know that his act of kindness would change his life forever. Nick and Jo connected the minute he noticed her crying at the taco stand. Nick was kind to her and immediately wanted to protect her. He was surprised at how well they got along -- it was as if they had known each other forever.

Nick’s Gallo cousins make an appearance in “Spark,” and of course they were interested in the mystery girl who was by his side. The bond he has with his cousins showed Jo how wonderful having a loving family can be. She felt at home with her new friends and was thankful that Nick came to her rescue and saved her from the darkness.

Chelle Bliss accurately describes the unconditional love that exists in the typical Italian family. Nick was brought up to protect women and Jo was fortunate to have met him when she needed a warm hug and a kind ear. I love this book because it made me laugh and smile and I thoroughly enjoyed their romance. Nick and Jo exude happiness and positivity and they never let anything get in their way. At a time when happiness is in short supply, Nick and Jo made me believe that love is the answer and that we should never give up hope.

5.0 out of 5 stars Spark is some of Chelle Bliss's best work to date. Nick and Jo are PERFECT together!

Spark is fantastic. Just when I thought (foolishly, of course) that Chelle Bliss couldn't up her game with this second generation of Gallos, she writes this book. There is something beyond rhythmic with this story that grabbed me in the most subtle way. I'm sure it's Nick Gallo's easygoing charm and his choice to live how he wants to, succumbing happily to his family's way of life. I fell hard, people. And maybe it's because we finally get a male Gallo storyline. Please don't get me wrong, I love his female cousins and the men who tried to tame them. But there is something beyond enthralling when it's about the men in this crew. And to see this younger cousin have his own world turned upside down by the woman he finds stranded at a taco stand when that is the absolute last thing on his mind, had me hook, line and sinker!

Nick and Josephine. The laid-back garage co-owner who was a bit of a bad boy in recent years together with the daughter of Hollywood royalty. There is no way these two should have ever met never mind find in the other their ultimate soulmates. But the sparks were immediate and Nick's chivalrous nature proved to be just what Jo needed. Can we all say irresistible? Le swoon.

I loved that Bliss took her time and yet Nick and Jo's love affair isn't terribly long when they both realize just how much they really do fit together. There are plenty of outside forces that threaten any sort of happy ending but when you have the Gallo family behind you, nothing ever seems to be impossible. Jo's world is nothing like the quiet, family-oriented world that is Nick's but like a frightened and wounded bird, she is attracted to the safety she never fully felt at any point in her life. Her need to flee when she might be discovered in this rural part of the country was completely understandable and yet it didn't deter Nick in making sure Jo was cared for and became his 'Babe' for good.

I've said it many times as I make my way through this wonderful series and the ones before it, and it bears repeating: there is nothing and I do mean nothing like the Gallo family. They are always at the very core of these characters and the desire for finding the perfectly imperfect mate made just for them. The values they have honed at their grandparents' and parents' knees, both literally and figuratively, give them the brazen yet very loving attitudes I find wildly addictive. And I was thrilled Jo could now be a part of this crazy crew, knowing that loyalty and love will never falter when you're a member of the Gallo familia.

Whether it's laughing out loud at the antics the women, in particular, continue to create, or the desirous ways each couple gaze at one another, I can't get enough of this well-written and heart-warming series. With what seems to be coming next, we may just be in for the most intense story-line yet as Bliss gives us just a taste of what might befall one of their own. A sharp bend in their lovely road that hopefully doesn't take any of them too off course.

Spark is without a doubt, one of Chelle Bliss's best yet and I happily give this book a huge 5 stars!

5.0 out of 5 stars Nick is Mine! :)

I had the pleasure of reading this book as Chelle was writing it, and let me tell you, the woman knows how to get right to your heart and make you love her characters over and over again!

It's no secret that the Gallo family holds a huge chunk of my heart, and Nick Gallo is no different. Well, I lie, he may actually be my favorite Gallo to date next to Lily.

When Nick meets Jo at a hole in the wall taco stand, suddenly, his simple life gets turned on its head, and now, life will never be the same for Nick.

All Jo has ever wanted is normalcy in her life and away from her parents. When she meets Nick at a taco stand, she realizes she's about to get way over her head, but desperate times call for desperate measures.</p>

These two have chemistry OFF THE CHARTS! Throw in the Gallo family antics, and let me just tell you that this blogger was literally smiling from ear to ear reading through this novel.

I can't wait to get this book on my shelves! Be sure you grab your copy, you won't regret it!

5.0 out of 5 stars I can't resist the Gallos

Holy Gallo hotness. Hold on too your heart or it will fall for hard for Nick. The bad boy, troublemaker has become a wonderful, sweet alpha. He is his father's son.

It has been five years since Nick got kicked out of private school. He has learned a lot in those 1825 plus days. He has become a protector. He has become the book boyfriend that we all want. Nick is a knight on a motorcyle.

He will ride off into the sunset with the most unexpected maiden. Jo has come to Florida to escape the lights of Hollywood only to have to escape the one she was with.

A lot can happen when a woman flees in the darkness. A lot can happen when a woman ends up in a small town after dark crying over nachos listening to a man degrading her, ordering her.

Get ready. Nick knows how to treat a woman. Nick knows how to protect a woman and he will have to when least expected. Nick knows how to love a woman even when she doesn't think she wants it. Swoon. Heart palpitations. There is a possibility that there was a little jealousy for the woman that Nick falls for.

Excuse me while I go drool some more while I read Spark a second time, and maybe a third.

5.0 out of 5 stars A swoon-worthy romance that will have you glued to your Kindle.

Every time I read a Men of Inked/Heatwave story I fall more in love with the Gallo's as they perfectly epitomise what a family should be like, even though they're 90% crazy. 😂

And for Josephine, “Jo” Carmichael meeting the Gallos is eye-opening, as she grew up in a world completely foreign to most with two famous parents who were hands off, and a mother who cares more about her own reputation, and what the media think than she does about her own daughter.

So. When the totally gorgeous and caring Nick Gallo meets and then rescues Jo and offers her a place to stay and an escape from her current crazy life Jo jumps at the chance, and what follows is a swoon-worthy romance. That had me glued to my Kindle, and with appearances from all my favourite Gallos, plenty of heat and sweetness. Spark was an awesome read, and I can't wait for what comes next!

Would definitely recommend.

Spark (Men of Inked: Heatwave #6)

This book was pure romance & steam, unafraid to show it's characters feelings & flaws. This reminded me more of an old style 'men of ink' book.😍 A good storyline, wonderful characters & the Gallo's at their finest.🌟
